Big Daishowa Cutting Tools Enable High-Efficiency Machining
IMTS 2024: Big Daishowa highlights its Big-Plus BBT series of diameter cutting tools, with extended length and optimized performance for grooving and shoulder milling.
Big Daishowa expands its lineup of Fullcut Mill FCM tools to include larger diameters and additional lengths. The Big-Plus BBT series now offers a 63-mm diameter cutter, and the 25-mm and 32-mm diameter series now have an extended length up to 105 mm.
Customers are said to be able to experience high-efficiency machining capabilities with the series’ integrated structure and low cutting resistance. These products are said to optimize performance for grooving and shoulder milling, which can offer a maximum depth of cut nearly four times more efficiently than conventional arbor-type cutters, according to the company.
